Andre Conley – Not Guilty; Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm, and Habitual Fourth.

On Monday April 23, 2012 a verdict of not guilty was returned after trial in Frank Murphy Hall of Justice, Detroit, Michigan on all counts for Andre Conley charged with Armed Robbery (which carries up to life), Felon in Possession of  a Firearm, Felony Firearm Second (mandatory 5 years consecutive) and habitual fourth (which itself carries up to life).

Mr. Conley was on parole at the time and the victim testified he knew Mr. Conley since they were young and that Mr. Conley allegedly robbed him at gun point and shot at him.  Photos were admitted showing what appeared to be bullet holes in the vehicle.  Mr. Conley did not testify at trial.

Criminal Sexual Conduct, 3rd Degree, facing 15 years in prison and mandatory registration on SORA (Sex Offender Registration Act)
Sentenced on March 6, 2012 to credit for 42 days served, no registration and HYTA (Holmes Youthful Trainee) so if he does not get in trouble the next year, the case is expunged.

Vehicular Manslaughter.  Met with prosecutor regarding incident that occurred in December, 2011.
The prosecutor agreed not to press charges this week, March, 2012, and the case is closed.
